Rhubarb pie sale

WEST PARIS – The congregation of the West Paris Universalist Church will hold a rhubarb pie sale on Saturday, May 21. Pies and other food will be on sale at the church from 9 a.m. until sold out.

People may order ahead and have a pie reserved by calling Beverly Stevens at 674-2481 or Joyce Lamb at 674-2002. Orders called in must be received by Tuesday, May 17. Pies ordered in this way must be picked up by 11 a.m. May 21. This is in addition to, but not in place of, food available for walk-in sale that morning.

As with many of the church’s other activities, many of these cooks are second- and sometimes third-generation bakers for this event held annually for many years. Tickets will be on sale that day on the quilt made this winter by the craft group of the church. The drawing for the quilt will be June 5 at the close of Old Home Days.

The church is located on Main Street in West Paris village.
