LEWISTON – Advocates for Children will sponsor a workshop regarding ADD/ADHD at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at 57 Birch St., Suite 204.

The speaker will be Dr. Ray Fannin of the Family Behavioral Health Center. He will examine the causes and types of ADD/ADHD, a commonly diagnosed disorder among school-age children.

Discussion will take place about the diagnosis and treatment of ADD/ADHD.

The workshop will be geared for parents and professionals who work with children with ADD/ADHD.

The workshop is free, but registration is required. Those wishing to attend should call 783-3990. Child care will be provided.

Advocates for Children is a participating United Way agency and a recipient of the Lewiston Community Development Block Grant.
