A story on Thursday’s A1 regarding nonunion state employees’ being forced to pay a union service fee noted that once the fee is being collected, the employees will have access to union lawyers and representation. Tom Farkas, communications and training coordinator with the Maine State Employees Association, says nonunion employees already have that access under existing labor laws.
