FRYEBURG – The Harvest Hills Animal Shelter has announced a Motorcycle Poker Run on Saturday, June 4, at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds. Rain date is June 5.

Registration will take place between 9 a.m. and noon. The run will take participants from the fairgrounds up through North Conway and on through the Crawford’s Notch area of the White Mountains and back to the fairgrounds via the Kancamagus Highway.

There will be four designated stops to pick cards to form a poker hand; the fifth card will be chosen upon return to the fairgrounds. The cost per hand is $5 and the top three hands will win prizes. The last rider has to be back at the fairgrounds at 4 p.m. There will be music and ice cream.

All proceeds will benefit the animals at Harvest Hills, a no-kill shelter servicing 18 towns in the Western Maine area. For more information, call 935-4358.
