TOPSHAM – Flying Changes Center for Therapeutic Riding plans a Pony Day Family Festival from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, at the center on Route 201, rain or shine, inside the stable and indoor riding arena.

The event is designed to involve children and parents in a day of activities for all in an effort to raise funds to support programs.

Since 1992 the nonprofit organization has provided services to 60 to 80 special needs children and adults each week. It is accredited by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association.

Activities will include pony theme craft activities, pony rides, a silent auction, performances by the Native American group, Native Chants, farm animals to pet/observe, farmer’s market, horse shoe toss and food and prizes.

Staff will talk with parent about programs, including the summer horsemanship camp.
