POLAND – The Poland Recreation Department will hold open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at the Poland Town Hall, 1231 Maine St.
The Recreation Department invites all adults from Poland, Mechanic Falls and Minot, ages 50 and over, to a free brunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, June 12, at the Poland Community School gym.
The menu will be extensive and plentiful. The staff will present recreational options for older adults and would like to receive feedback on what types of trips and activities are wanted in the community.
Flag football registration deadline is Tuesday, June 17. The program will run July 6 to 27 Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Cost is $25.
Teen Adventure will include eight trips/activities throughout the summer. Call for details at 998-4650. The MLS Soccer Camp will be held the week of July 18 to 22 and registration is open.
Poland Regional High School Varsity Coach Ryan Holmes will conduct soccer camp from 6 to 8 p.m. June 23, 24 and 25 at the school. Cost is $25. Registration deadline is June 3.
Fall soccer sign-up will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. June 7 and 9 at the Poland Recreation Office in the Poland Town Hall.
Registration deadline will be July 22.
Funtown tickets for Poland, Minot and Mechanic Falls residents are available at the recreation office.
