Colwell II

GARDINER – The wedding of Francine Ellen Bott and Patrick Elliot Colwell II was held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 27 at the Christ Episcopal Church in Gardiner. The Rev. Jacob C. Flest officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Colwell is the daughter of Robert and Rachel Bott of Lewiston. Mr. Colwell is the son of Rebecca Colwell of Gardiner and Patrick Colwell of Bath.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a white strapless fitted gown with sheer train and she carried a bouquet of orange Cala lilies and yellow freesia.

Rachel Bott, mother of the bride, was matron of honor and bridesmaids were cousins of the bride, Denise Paquette, Lisa Tracey, Jennifer Massie and Elise McGill. Emma Paquette, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

Seth Vigue, friend of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man and ushers were Rhett Eldridge and Ryan Reed, friends of the bridegroom, and Jarrod Malone, cousin of the bridegroom. Seth Wing, cousin of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Maple Hill Farm Inn and Conference Center in Hallowell, after which the couple traveled to St. Lucia. They are residing in Gardiner.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of New Hampshire and is employed at MS Human Services Management at the University of Massachusetts in Boston.

The bridegroom received a degree in philosophy from Middlebury College.
