NORWAY – The Sunday worship service at the Norway Universalist Church, UU, on Sunday, May 29, will be on “Memorial Day: Remembering the Brave Souls in Our Lives,” led by the Rev. Joy D. Gasta, with Heather Pierson, music director.
Bluegrass program
BERLIN, N.H. – Erica Brown, champion fiddler, and her new band, the Bluegrass Connection, will perform at the Community Arts Center, 155 Emery St., at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 4. The program is being held in conjunction with Berlin’s Lilac Festival.
Brown, a 20-year-old Lewiston resident, developed an interest in music at an early age. Her band includes her younger brother, Daniel, on mandolin. Lincoln Meyers plays guitar and Ken Taylor is on bass. Ted DeMille, vocalist, is also a song writer.
Tickets are $10 at the door, and students K-12 are half price. For more information, interested persons may call the Arts Center Office at 603-752-1028
