LISBON FALLS – Philip W. Sugg Middle School has recognized students for their citizenship. The Elliot M. Warren Award is named in memory of a middle school student who died during the school year 1999-2000.

The award is given three times each year. Students may be recognized in one, two or three of the following categories:

Caring-Polite-Helpful: Students demonstrate genuine concern for other students and staff; demonstrate good manners in school and all around the school; and provide assistance to students and staff.

Hard Working and Resourceful: Students demonstrate effort in doing class work and homework and demonstrate respect toward students and staff.

Respectful: Students demonstrate respect toward students and staff.

Students submit nominations of peers and the reason for the nomination. Each team of teachers will screen the applications and determine students to be recognized.
