RUMFORD – A free quit-smoking program will be held at Rumford Hospital in June.
It will addresses reasons for smoking, triggers and roadblocks involved in the quitting process, methods to help quit and strategies to help them stay tobacco-free. The program consists of four one-hour small-group sessions and will be led by Stephanie Thompson, smoking cessation facilitator for River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition.
Classes will be offered from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays, June 8, 15, 22 and 29. Class location will be second-floor Conference Room A.
