ST. JOHN, Virgin Islands – The wedding of Laurie Anne Huntress and Joshua James Hounsell was held at 5:30 p.m. on March 22 at Gibney Beach at St. John in the Virgin Islands.
The bride is the daughter of Fred and Shirley Huntress of Poland Spring. The bridegroom is the son of William and Sue Hounsell of North Conway, N.H.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Emily Beaulieu was maid of honor for her friend and Nathan Hounsell was best man for his brother.
A reception followed at Oppenheimer Pavilion at Gibney Beach, after which the couple traveled to Tortola, British Virgin Islands. They are residing in Hebron.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Vermont College of Medicine and is employed as a family physician at DFD Russell Medical Center in Leeds.
The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire.
