THOMASTON – Siohban Riordan dropped a two-run single in the eighth inning to lift Lisbon to a 9-7 triumph over Georges Valley.

With the game tied at 7-7, the Greyhounds (11-5) loaded the bases with two outs on a pair of errors and a walk. Riordan followed with her game-winning hit.

Lisbon jumped out to an early 6-0 lead, but the Buccaneers rallied to knot the game with four runs in the fifth.

Riordan and Belle Mathieu led Lisbon with three hits apiece, while Emily Moore and Vicky Osmond chipped in with two each. Juliet Laaka had three hits for the Bucs.

Liv. Falls 3, Boothbay 1

LIVERMORE FALLS – Danielle Gray threw a two-hitter and scored the game-winning run as Livermore Falls beat Boothbay, 3-1, in MVC softball action Saturday.

With the game tied 1-1, Gray reached on an error to lead off the sixth inning. Krista Allen then knocked her in with a double to make it 2-1 and later scored on a fielder’s choice for an insurance run.

Gray picked up the win, striking out nine and walking three as the Andies improved to 7-8. Ally Hartley allowed four hits and took the loss for Boothbay (3-1).

Poland 9, Yarmouth 4

YARMOUTH – Kelli O’Connor struck out 10 and walked none as Poland sailed to a 9-4 victory over Yarmouth in WMC softball action Saturday.

Ali Matia paced the Yachtsmen (6-8) with a two-run single in the third inning.

Rachel Robbins, who had three RBIs, belted a ground-rule double with the bases loaded for the Knights (10-5) in the four-run fourth inning. Courtney Clark pitched in with a double and a single for two RBIs and three runs in the winning effort.

Telstar 11, Mtn. Valley 0

RUMFORD – Jillian Kimball went 4-for-4 and keyed a six-run first inning with a two-run single to lead Telstar to an 11-0 victory over Mountain Valley.

The game was moved to Rumford due to wet fields in Bethel.

Jessie Farrington limited the Falcons (5-9) to three hits and struck out eight. Farrington and Liz Rosenberg scored three runs apiece.

Oxford Hills 6, Edward Little 2

SOUTH PARIS – Lauren Austin went 3-for-4 to lead Oxford Hills to a 6-2 win over Edward Little in KVAC softball action Saturday.

Pitcher Randi Arsenault contributed a pair of hits for the Vikings (11-4).

Melissa Snow, who had singled to get on base, later scored the eventual game-winning run in the second inning.

Edward Little 15, Mountain Valley 6

AUBURN – Danny Martineau scored five goals and assisted on three others to spark Edward Little to a 15-6 victory over Mountain Valley in the regular-season finale.

Liv Welch and Katie Bonney scored three goals apiece for the Red Eddies (3-8). Katelyn Perkins, Bre Wing, Beth Esponette and Kristin Humphrey also scored for EL.

Mountain Valley (1-10) was led by Angie Child with five goals.

Jo Jo Hughes recorded 13 saves for EL.
