NORWAY – The Norway Business Association will meet at 1:30 p.m.Thursday, June 2, at Lola’s Boutique.

The agenda includes the summer festival, bicentennial, auction and preliminary holiday plans.

The Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce will hold an open house from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 2, to welcome the new director. Association members wishing to go as a group should meet at Pike’s at 5:05 p.m.

Honor night

NORWAY – Oxford Chapter 168, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet for a 6:30 p.m. supper on Thursday, June 2, followed by a 7:30 p.m. meeting and special Honor Night for Lynda Bell, DDGM 5, at the Masonic Hall, Temple Street.

Society supper

PARIS – The West Paris Historical Society will hold its annual baked bean supper at 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 3, at its building.

Elaine Emery will play oldies on the piano and the Oxford County Bicentennial Quilt will be on display on the stage. Norman Emery will host the open house upstairs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Benefit auction

PARIS – A benefit Chinese Auction for Dawn Abbott Brissette will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the South Paris Fire Station, Western Avenue. Doors will open at 4.

Brissette, of South Paris, graduated from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and has worked in the area all her life. She has a brain tumor and lung cancer. She has been in and out of the hospital and unable to work since she was diagnosed in January.

Memory service

PARIS – The First Universalist Church of West Paris, Main Street, will hold its second annual service of memory at 9 a.m. Sunday, June 5, in conjunction with the Old Home Days weekend. The theme is “Coming Home.” The public is invited.

Worship leader

PARIS – Marilyn Hammond will be the worship leader at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris, Sunday, June 5. The service will begin at 10 a.m. The music will be under the direction of Forest Perkins, church organist, and the Sunday school will be under the direction of Rene Wales. Child care is provided. Brunch will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.

Support group

BRIDGTON – “Mom’s Milk,” a breastfeeding support group at Bridgton Hospital, will meet on the following dates and times this summer: Monday, June 6, from 5 to 6 p.m.; Friday, June 17, from 10 to 11 a.m.; Tuesday, June 28, from 4 to 5 p.m.; and Monday, Aug. 15, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
