BETHEL – “Let the Sun Shine In” is the theme for the 16th biennial quilt show to be presented by the Cross Country Quilters of Bethel on Friday and Saturday, June 24 and 25.

The old-fashioned country quilt show, to be held at the 1816 Middle Intervale Meeting House, will feature antique quilts as well as new ones made by area quilters.

The show will also have handmade items for sale, refreshments and a Log Cabin quilt in blue and yellow fabrics, which will be raffled on the last day of the show. Show hours will be from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day.

There will be a donation of $4 and children under 12 will be admitted free. All proceeds from the show will be used to continue the ongoing preservation of the Middle Intervale Meeting house located on Intervale Road.

Anyone wishing information or interested in lending his or her quilt for the show may contact the coordinators, Lee Barth at 743-6468 or cfercat@adelphia.net, or Shireen Vincent at 836-2918.
