LEWISTON – The YWCA of Central Maine will begin “Choose Your Vessel” swim lesson registration for the summer session on Saturday, June 4, for current YWCA members and Saturday, June 11, for all others.

Swim lessons are offered Monday through Thursday morning, afternoon and evenings. Classes are available for all abilities and ages 6 months old to adult. Classes may be a half hour or an hour depending on level. Classes will begin the week of June 20.

“Choose Your Vessel” lessons include the “Accelerated Speed Boat,” four classes, Monday through Thursday, for two weeks; “Fast Track Cruise Liner,” two classes, Tuesday and Thursday, for four weeks; or “Sailboat,” one class for seven weeks. Cost for swim lessons will be $55 for six classes, $60 for seven classes or $65 for eight classes.

Participants must be members of the YWCA. Membership is good for one year and includes free membership swims and other discounted program fees. YWCA membership fees are: child (up to 12), $25; youth (13-17), $35; adult (18-59), $50; senior citizens (60+), $40.
