NORWAY – Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge meets at 9 a.m. every Friday at the Fare Share Coop Commons, 445 Main St.

Chinese auction

NAPLES – A Chinese auction will be held from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11, aboard the Songo River Queen II. Ninety auction tickets are available at $20 each. When purchased before June 11, additional ticket is free. Space is limited to 100. Features will include a dollar table, grab bags and food sale. It is being sponsored by the Resistance Ministries Youth Ministry. Call 743-6982 for more information.

Library speaker

BRYANT POND – Sayward Lamb will be the guest speaker at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 16, at the Whitman Memorial Library. He will show and talk about his wood carvings. Lamb has won awards for his work.

The change from the second Thursday to the third Thursday is for this month only. This will be the last program until the fall schedule.

Society to elect

HEBRON – The Hebron Historical Society annual meeting will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at Moody Library. There will be new and old business, election of officers and trustees and a decision to continue or dissolve the society.

The Oxford County Bicentennial Quilt will be on display from 1 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 16, and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 17, at the Hebron Town Office.

Moose tours

GORHAM, N.H. – Scenic three-hour guided tours to view moose and other wildlife in natural habitat, are offered at 6:30 p.m. daily. Reservations are recommended. Cost is adults, $20; age 5 to 12, $15.
