LEWISTON – The Maine Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society will sponsor an educational program for people with MS from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the Lepage Conference Center, 99 Campus Ave. The program, titled “Finding Strength Through Rehabilitation,” will feature local physical therapist Steven Huber of Huber Associates, PA, Auburn.
He will explain how rehabilitation can benefit anyone with MS, whether their symptoms are severe or mild.
Huber will share insights from his many years of experience working with people with MS to help restore lost function following a flare-up of the disease and to help slow down losses of ability. Attendees will learn how rehabilitation can help to improve their quality of life.
Hors d’oeuvres will be served. Registration is available by calling the Maine chapter at 1-800-FIGHT-MS.
