GRAY – The Gray-New Gloucester Teachers’ Association has awarded a scholarship to Marsey Pendexter. She will attend St. Anselm College to begin her studies toward earning a four-year degree in criminal justice, a career choice made at age 13.

Pendexter is a focused young person who has said that from the moment she set foot on the campus, she knew that St. Anselm was the college for her. Some of her excitement stems from the positive comments that she has heard about it criminal justice program, including the fact that several of its teachers are former FBI agents.

She is the daughter of Erin Pendexter and Wayne Searles, both of New Gloucester.
