Annance

LEWISTON – The wedding of Annette Marie Hemond and John P.L. Annance was held at 6 p.m. on Feb. 12 at the Ramada Inn. Gail Reid, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Annance is the daughter of Donald and Serae Hemond of Minot. Mr. Annance is the son of Louie and Cindy Annance of Mechanic Falls and stepson of the late Sheila Annance.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white gown with beaded corset bodice and full organza skirt. She carried a bouquet of pink, red, white and lavender roses.

Theresa Hemond was maid of honor for her sister and bridesmaids were Jen Jordan, Jessica Foss and Shannon Huskins, friends, and Julie Ward, sister-in-law. Kecki Ward, niece, was junior bridesmaid and Marissa Zink and Marcia Theriault, friends of the bride, were flower girls.

A friend of the bridegroom, Randy Lessard, served as best man and ushers were Mike Hill, Dennis Voter and Nick Shortill, friends, and Brian Bosse, cousin of the bridegroom. Peter Annance, brother of the bridegroom, was junior usher and ring bearer was Connor Ward, nephew.

A reception followed at the Ramada Inn.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Poland Regional High School and a 2002 graduate of Bernard’s School of Hair Fashion. She is a stylist at Janelle Number 5 in Windham and is also employed at the family business, HMXP in Minot.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Poland Regional High School and is employed as a welder fabricator at Clamp Co. in Mechanic Falls.
