BRDIGTON – Dr. Lisa Kleinert has joined the staff of Bridgton Hospital, President John Carlson announced.

Kleinert has moved to Bridgton from Providence, R.I., where she was a full-time internal medicine physician at the Providence Veterans Administration Medical Center. In Providence, she served as an instructor in medicine on the Brown Medical School faculty.

She earned her doctor of medicine degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington and completed her medical internship and residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Dr. Kleinert was raised in Connecticut and received her bachelor’s of science degree in biology from Trinity College. She was a full-time physician at St. Mary’s Medical Associates in Lewiston before moving to Rhode Island.

She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Gleason is guest on chamber show

Lewiston – “Chip and the Chamber” on Great Falls TV celebrates its first anniversary in June. Co-hosts Chip Morrison and Toni Seger decided to mark the anniversary by focusing on the chamber and the complex role it plays in the life of Androscoggin County.

Dick Gleason, a familiar figure in media throughout central and western Maine, is the the show’s guest this month. Gleason is also chairman of the Androscoggin County Chamber’s Board of Directors and he speaks, in that capacity, about the progress he’s witnessed in the L/A area. The show airs at 9 p.m. Wednesday and 5 p.m. Saturday throughout the month.
