AUBURN – First Auburn Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Hasty Community Center, Pettengill Park. There will be installation of officers and an Italian sandwich luncheon. If time permits, bingo will be played.

At the June 1 meeting conducted by President Betty Hebert, three guests were welcomed: Sylvia Thibodeau, Irene Fraser and Robert Adkins. Members having June birthdays were honored with the “Birthday Song.”

Elected as officers for 2005-2006 were: president, Caroline Chapman; vice president, Shirley Hawkins; recording secretary, Anita Nadeau; corresponding secretary, Lucia Cowles; treasurer, Gerry Brushwein; assistant treasurer, Jim Lutz; and chaplain, Pat Donohue. Directors elected were Richard Brushwein, Nelson Edwards, Kaye DeBurra, George Brainerd and Joan Webb.

Trip coordinator Joyce Poole reminded members of the overnight trip to Waterville, N.H., on June 27 and 28, which includes a cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee. She announced a dinner theater at the Carousel in Boothbay Harbor on Aug. 23. The show is “Heartbreak Hotel” and the cost is $50.

Bill Redmun was presented a gift from the club for his long-time services. Attendance winners were Normand Poulin and Judy Agnew. Pot of gold winners were Anne Nichols, Thelma Lever and Nancy Roy. Following lunch, bingo was played.
