LEWISTON – The Flag Day ceremony, which was canceled on June 14, has been rescheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18, in Veterans’ Memorial Park with the unveiling of Stone 9, with 216 names, and the World War I tablet.
The picking up of flags at St. Peter’s Cemetery, schedule for Saturday, June 18, has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. Friday, June 17.
Sewing chapter
AUBURN – The Andy Valley Warped Threads Chapter of the American Sewing Guild will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at Craft/Mania on Center Street.
The focus will be sewing accessories and various members will demonstrate specialized sewing machine feet and other attachments. In addition, members of the club are planning a project to which all members will be invited to contribute.
Anyone interested in sewing, quilting, embroidery or similar crafts is welcome to attend.
