LITCHFIELD – Nancy Jewett and nine friends recently spent a weekend of scrapbooking at the Dominican Sisters Retreat Center on Buker Pond in Litchfield.
Jewett was the first grand prize raffle winner of a weekend getaway for 10 at the Sabattus PTA’s 2004 Croppin’ for Kids’ Sake scrapbooking event held at the Lewiston Armory. She resides in Greene and has been scrapbooking for four years.
The Sabattus PTA’s 2005 Croppin’ for Kids’ Sake is scheduled for Nov. 5 at Sabattus Central School. Last year’s event drew 400 scrapbookers from all over New England and raised $15,000.
One of the top prizes will again be a getaway scrapping weekend for 10.
