FARMINGTON – Farmington Emblem Club 460 hosted the convention of the Maine Emblem Clubs on June 3, 4 and 5 at the West Farmington Elks Lodge.
A group of women and one man from the club had met one or two times a week for several weeks to practice singing two songs for the memorial service, which was held June 5.
Some of the same members, with others added, sang two songs as part of the entertainment on Saturday night after a banquet that honored Farmington Emblem Club’s past president, Connie Small.
Small was installed as the Maine Emblem Club 2005/2006 president at a ceremony on Sunday.
