WATERFORD – The Wilkins Community House, located beside the Waterford Congregational Church on Plummer Hill, Waterford Village, will offer its 52nd year of summer breakfasts starting on Monday, July 4.

The nonprofit organization oversees the upkeep of the Wilkins House and is available for private and community events.

Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 10 a.m. and again on July 20, Aug. 3 and 17. The expanded menu will offer scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage links, homemade muffins, doughnuts, orange juice and coffee. The cost is $5 and $3 for children ages 5 to 10. Children under 5 are free.

The Congregational Church’s Mission Outreach Program will sell hot dogs, hamburgers and cold drinks at their booth on the common during the July 4 parade.

Downstairs at the Wilkins House, there will be an indoor yard sale during the breakfast and throughout the morning.

The Women’s Fellowship craft table will be available with a raffle for a large basket of Maine products.

The Waterford Historical Society will sell its publication, “This is Waterford,” a collection of photos and poetry, essays and articles by people who helped to shape the character of the village.
