LEWISTON – Robert and Betty (Houx) Roberge of Prairie Village, Kansas, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple was married on May 30, 1955, in Warrensburg, Mo., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mr. Roberge is the son of the late John and Florence Roberge of Lewiston.
The couple celebrated the anniversary in Melbourne, Fla., as guests of their nephews, Tom and Michael Roberge, formerly of Lewiston.
Mr. Roberge is a retired manufacturer’s representative and funeral director in the Kansas City area. Mrs. Roberge is a retired art teacher at the Kansas City, Mo., school district.
The couple has two children, Rob Roberge and his wife, Marian, of Overland Park, Kan., and Libby Roberge-Polyviou and her husband, Michael Polyviou, of Red Bank, N.J. They have one granddaughter, Perri Elizabeth Polyviou.
