CALLAHAN, Fla. – The wedding of Jami Mobley and Scott Richard Roy was held at 6 p.m. on May 28 at their home in Callahan, Fla. The Rev. Wayne Higginbotham officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Roy is the daughter of Katie Davidson of Callahan, Fla., and Norman and Karen Mobley of Dunnellon, Fla. Mr. Roy is the son of Raymond and Kathy Becvar of Lewiston and the late Richard A. Roy.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Erin Hillwig was maid of honor for her friend and bridesmaids were Tina Elkins and Ansley Howard, friends, and Jessie Allen, sister of the bridegroom. Morgan Howard and Jewelya Cordero were flower girls.

A cousin of the bridegroom, Chris Snowdeal, performed the duties of best man and ushers were Cpl. Joey “Uzzi” Yanuzzi, friend, Gunnery Sgt. Chris Allen, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Joshua Mobley, brother of the bride. Kerry Lowell Roy, son, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the home of the couple. They are planning a honeymoon to St. Augustine, Fla.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of West Nassau High School in Callahan, Fla. She is employed as a team trainer at Cisco Information Systems.

The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed as embalmer apprentice at Peeples Family Funeral Homes in Jacksonville, Fla.
