• Shawn M. Russell, 26, of Maine Avenue, Rumford, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court at 9:55 p.m. June 24 on Main Street. He was taken to Oxford County jail and is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on Aug. 2.

• Jennifer L. Welch, 24, of Backkingdom Road, Mexico, was arrested on a charge of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and making a false public alarm or statement, at 2:25 p.m. June 24 on Main Street.

She was released on unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on Aug. 2.

• Steven Perrault, 30, of Main Street, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court, at 2:25 p.m. June 24 on Main Street. He is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on Aug. 2.

• Gregory Laplant, 50, of Cumberland Street, Rumford, was arrested on charges of burglary and assault at 7:48 p.m. June 23 on the Harlow Hill Road. He was taken to Oxford County jail and is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on Aug. 2.

• Michael R. Sargent, 36, of Cumberland Street, Rumford, was arrested on charges of burglary and assault at 7:48 p.m. June 23 on the Harlow Hill Road. He was taken to Oxford County jail, where he was bailed. He is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on Aug. 2.

Accidents

• Vehicles driven by Jeffrey M. Budan, 43, of Thessalon, Ontario, and Norman Laplante, 77, of Peru, collided at 1:48 p.m. June 22 on Main Street. The tractor-trailer truck owned by Vanderaml Trucking of Ontario and driven by Budan sustained $2,500 damage. The 2005 Ford pickup truck driven by Laplante sustained $1,500 damage.

• The 1999 Subaru driven by Diane Bouchard, 25, of Rumford, rolled over at 4:20 p.m. June 20 on Route 17. The vehicle was destroyed. Bouchard sustained no injuries.
