PHOENIX (AP) – Matt Morris earned his 10th win, Scott Rolen hit a two-run double, and the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 10-3 Monday.

John Mabry and pinch-hitters Abraham Nunez and So Taguchi also drove in two runs. Albert Pujols had an RBI and extended his hitting streak to 16 games for the Cardinals, who will send six players to the All-Star game, more than any team in the majors.

Despite a stellar season, Morris (10-1) is not one of them. A day after he was left off the NL roster, he allowed one run and six hits in seven innings as St. Louis won for the seventh time in 10 games following a three-game losing streak.

Troy Glaus had an RBI single off Morris and a two-run homer – the 200th of his career – in the eighth against St. Louis reliever Brad Thompson.

The Cardinals scored five runs – four earned – against Brandon Webb (8-5), who won six of his first nine starts but is 2-5 in eight since May 20.

They added four runs in the eighth on bases-loaded doubles by Nunez and Taguchi. All four runs were charged to reliever Greg Aquino, who gave up three hits and two walks while getting just one out.

Mabry, starting in right field to allow Reggie Sanders to rest his sprained right foot, went 4-for-4 with a pair of run-scoring singles. He hit the first after Larry Walker doubled off the center-field wall in the second inning.

The Cardinals made it 4-0 in the third, taking advantage of two walks. All-Star Rolen followed with a two-run double and Mabry had an RBI single.

Meanwhile, Morris cruised through four innings, retiring nine straight batters after Shawn Green, who finished with two doubles and a single, led off the second with a double.

When Arizona threatened in the fifth, Morris again pitched his way out of trouble.

He hit Glaus with a pitch to open the inning, and Jose Cruz Jr. singled. Glaus reached third on a forceout, but Morris struck out Chris Snyder and Webb, stranding two.

Glaus followed a double by Chad Tracy with his run-scoring single in the sixth, and Green was aboard when Glaus homered in the eighth.

Notes: Glaus’ two hits snapped an 0-for-16 skid. … Morris is 6-0 in seven road starts this season. … Walker is 8-for-17 during a five-game hitting streak since returning from a herniated disc in his neck. … Yadier Molina had a sacrifice fly for the Cardinals’ final run.
