RANGELEY – The Wilhelm Reich Museum’s Natural Science Program will start off with a tree walk from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at the museum’s outdoor classroom on Dodge Pond Road.

Naturalist and landscaper Warren Balgooyen will lead an instructive hike along one of the many trails. He will include species identification as well as entertain questions. The walk will be held rain or shine. Appropriate clothing for the weather, sturdy shoes, bug spray and a bottle of water are recommended.

Annual meeting

INDUSTRY – The Clearwater Lake Improvement Association will hold its annual meeting and potluck lunch on Sunday, July 10. The event will begin at 1 p.m. at the Industry Town Hall.

Women’s lunch

WILTON – The Western Mountain Women’s Connection will meet for a luncheon from 11:15 to 1:15 p.m. Monday, July 11, at the Boiler Room on Main Street.

Agatha Kimball of Mexico will present a special feature on sun protection, and Carol Martin of New York will be the special guest speaker. Martin, a grandmother of seven, enjoys the outdoors and horseback riding.

She is a retired special education teacher who began a new career as an artist.

The Western Mountain Women’s Connection generally meets the first Tuesday of each month but will meet the second week in July and August. All women of the area are invited.

Vacation school

STRONG – Vacation Bible School, “Fishers of Men,” for ages 3 to 13, will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, July 11, 12 and 13, at Living Water Assembly of God Church. Storytelling, contests, puppetry, recreation and refreshments will be available. All children are invited. Call 684-3743 for more information.
