MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – Chip Cannon homered, doubled and drove in two runs to lead the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to a 4-0 win over the Portland Sea Dogs on Sunday.

New Hampshire starter Casey Janssen (1-0) struck out eight and gave up only two hits in seven scoreless innings.

Rob Cosby went 2-for-3 with a home run and a double for the Fisher Cats (46-41).

Cannon’s homer was his first as a Fisher Cat. It was Cosby’s 12th home run of the year.

Charlie Zink surrendered three runs on seven hits and in 4 2-3 innings to earn the loss for Portland (45-40).

Kenny Perez and David Murphy had the Sea Dogs’ only hits.

Maikel Jova went 1-for-4 and scored a run for the Fisher Cats. Clint Johnston added a double for New Hampshire.
