TURNER – SAD 52 River Valley Adult and Community Education of Greene, Leeds and Turner is celebrating 25 years of lifelong learning with many familiar classes and sports camps along with several new offerings. Classes starting this week include the following:

Tumbling Camp: beginner, intermediate and advance students will enhance their coordination, strength, balance and flexibility while improving and refining tumbling skills and having fun. The instructor is Safety USA Gymnastics Certified.

Grandchild Memory Book: The one-night workshop will show how to design and create a grandchild book. Specific focus will be on planning and layout of the book. There will be an opportunity to purchase a 7-by-7-inch album.

English: The fast-paced class includes study in writing, American literature, authors and classics. Students will focus on one area of study during class. Must be able to work well in a group setting. Because of the fast paced environment, students must commit to attending each day and need to supply pen/pencil, paper and a three-ring binder. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive one high school credit.

Introduction of Scrapbooking: In the one-night workshop participants will learn about storing and organizing print and digital photos. Complete an 8-by-10-inch page to take home and frame.
