BRYANT POND – “Gardens Designed to Fit the Landscape” is the theme of this year’s Mahoosuc Land Trust Garden Tour from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, July 31.
At three of the gardens, participants will be able to talk with garden designers Ann Friedlander, Becky Seacrest and Cathy Ford, who will share their expertise.
The tour will begin at the library. Tickets, maps and other information are available there. Bring a picnic lunch. The land trust will provide beverages and dessert. The cost is $12 a person.
The gardens are those of Gil Whitman, sculptor, industrial age sculptures outside and more art inside the house, Bryant Pond; Beth and Walter Brough, spectacular views, native specimen trees and plantings, lunch, Mt. Abram; Pat and Henry Stewart, terraced hillsides and lakeside bog garden; Donna Primozich, well known shade garden featuring a large hosta collection, North Norway.
