Youth team
RUMFORD – The Youth Resource Team will be sponsoring children’s activities for the Moontide Water Festival. Volunteers are needed to help with children’s activities Monday, July 4. A group will meet at the Memorial Green at the end of Congress St. by 8 a.m. and activities will be held throughout the day. List of activities planned are: sand art, petting zoo, floor puzzle, face painting, nail painting, donkey rides, poster contest, totem pole crafts, temporary tattoos, Cootie Bug activity, books and blankets, hair ties and braids, Kool-Aid play, dough, Lucky Duck Jr. contest, Jump n slide inflatable, Greater Rumford Community Center gymnastics presentation, music, food vendors and more.
The next Youth Resource Team meeting is scheduled for noon Friday, July 22, at The Teen Center (basement of the Mexico Rec Center). Stephanie has the YRT email addresses and will be sending out an agenda soon.
