The Fisher Cats (51-53) outhit the Sea Dogs (53-48) by a 10-6 margin but couldn’t score in key situations. Portland led 4-0 after three innings. The Sea Dogs cobbled together one run in the first and two in the second before Durbin’s homer made it 4-0.
