PORTLAND (AP) – Alberto Concepcion hit a two-run homer and Hanley Ramirez also had two RBIs as the Portland Sea Dogs handed the New Hampshire Fisher Cats their ninth straight loss 8-3 on Saturday.

The Fisher Cats (51-54) grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a walk, error and single. Portland (54-48) tied it in the second when David Murphy doubled and scored.

New Hampshire scored once in the fourth on back-to-back doubles by Curtis Thigpen and Brad Hassey, but the Sea Dogs took the lead for good when Concepcion homered with a man aboard in the bottom of the inning.

Portland scored three runs in the fifth on two singles, two walks, an error, a fielding miscue and a sacrifice fly.

Both teams scored once in the sixth and Portland added a run in the eighth.
