NORWAY – The Second Congregational Church is seeking donations of used but serviceable items for the fifth annual “Tents n’ Treasures” sale to be held from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, rain or shine. Members will pick up donations.
Donations can include furniture, sporting goods, games, camping gear, baskets, knick-knacks, frames, books, jewelry, antiques, household items, tools, lamps, lawnmowers, chainsaws, canoes, plants, instruments, tapes, CDs, toys, stereos, small appliances, boats and cars. Everything should be clean and in good working condition. No large appliances or clothing will be accepted.
Call 674-2589 or the church office at 743-2290 for pick-up or leave items in the barn attached to the parsonage. The church is at 205 Main St.
Donations will be accepted until Sunday, Aug. 21, but people can donate large items like furniture until Friday, Aug. 26.
All proceeds will help fulfill the mission of the church for the remainder of the year.
