FARMINGTON – Kilo is a handsome Rottweiler/Labrador mix. He is an older guy, about 6, and has perfect manners.

He knows basic commands of sit and lie down.

Kilo was owner-surrendered to the shelter because his owner was moving and could no longer take care of him or his two other canine companions. He loves to leap about with other dogs, trying to get them to play tag, and loves to play with cats.

He would be a great companion to anyone looking for a playmate for their dog or for someone who wants a couch potato for a companion.

New dogs at the shelter include the following: bridle pitbull mix female found in Jay, brindle and white pitbull mix female found in Weld, Jack Russell mix found in Phillips, brown and white pitbull mix male found in Jay, black Labrador/shepherd mix found in Livermore Falls and a white/cream husky mix found in Farmington.

The shelter will host its first Birthday Bash at the Meeting House Park on Saturday, Aug. 13, in honor of the cats that are having their one-year anniversary at the shelter.
