LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court.

Ahmed M. Abdi, 38, Lewiston, operating a vehicle without a license on March 1, 2004 and operating while license suspended or revoked on April 8 and May 3, found guilty on all charges, fined $100 on first charge; fined $250 on second and third charges.

Frank R. Achorn, 36, Minot, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Nov. 24, transferred to Superior Court.

Melissa C. Adams, 46, Mexico, operating under the influence and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on March 22, both charges sent to jury trial.

Tarsha Adams, 22, Lewiston, harassment by telephone on Nov. 1, filed with no cost.

Jack H. Alahverdian, 52, Lewiston, operating a vehicle without a license and attaching false plates on April 9, found guilty on both charges, fined $100 on first charge; fined $75 on second charge.

Hassan Albidhani, 38, Biddeford, assault on June 15, sentenced to 120 days with all but 24 hours suspended and two years probation.

Michael Allen, 35, Lewiston, operating under the influence and possession of marijuana on April 3, found guilty on first charge, fined $500, sentenced to 96 hours and license suspended 90 days; second charge dismissed.

Wilson F. Alves, 22, Livermore Falls, possession of marijuana on Feb. 4, fined $300 by default.

Shaun M. Ames, 25, Auburn, operating while license suspended or revoked on April 4, found guilty, fined $500 and sentenced to 96 hours.

Jessica L. Arbogast, 20, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking and theft by receiving stolen property on April 27, both charges dismissed.

Abelisario Argueta, 35, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked on Feb. 8, found guilty, fined $250.

Wendi L. Arnold, 42, Auburn, terrorizing on May 25, sent to jury trial.

Wilson Arroyo, 41, Lewiston, operating after habitual offender revocation and violating condition of release on June 5, both charges transferred to Superior Court.

Thomas A. Ashton, 49, Auburn, operating under the influence on Feb. 26 and assault and violating condition of release on March 29, found guilty on first charge, fined $700, sentenced to seven days and license suspended 18 months; second charge dismissed; found guilty on third charge, sentenced to 45 days.

Scott Ayer, 19, Greene, criminal speed on May 6, found guilty, fined $300.

Ryan L. Bachelder, 21, Turner, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, forgery and violating condition of release on May 12, all charges transferred to Superior Court.

Lisa Bailey, 21, Lewiston, burglary on May 21 and forgery on May 22, both charges transferred to Superior Court.

John Baillargeon, 40, Leeds, operating while license suspended or revoked and operating after registration suspended on March 28, found guilty on first charge, fined $250; second charge dismissed.

Andrew A. Baker Sr., 26, Gray, operating while license suspended or revoked and failure to register vehicle on April 3 and disorderly conduct and violating condition of release on April 14, found guilty on first charge, fined $500 and sentenced to five days; second charge dismissed; found guilty on third and fourth charges, sentenced to 24 hours for each charge.

Henry G. Baker, 40, Livermore Falls, operating under the influence on April 19, sent to jury trial.

Mark Patrick Barrett, 39, Lewiston and Auburn, operating after habitual offender revocation on March 29 and habitual offender on April 10, both charges transferred to Superior Court.

Jeanna M. Barry, 26, Lewiston, operating under the influence and operating while license suspended or revoked on Feb. 1, found guilty on first charge, fined $700, sentenced to 12 days and license suspended for 18 months; second charge dismissed.

Christopher L. Bartelle, 26, Farmingdale, disorderly conduct on April 2, found guilty, fined $75.

John R. Bartos, 22, Lisbon Falls, violating condition of release and allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor on June 10, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 48 hours for each charge.

David Bauman, 36, Lisbon, operating while license suspended or revoked on March 22, found guilty, fined $500 and license suspended 96 hours.

Peter Charles Bean, 22, Lewiston, assault on March 23, found guilty, sentenced to two days.

Melissa A. Beaudet, 24, Casco, operating while license suspended or revoked and unlawful use of a license on March 27, both charges dismissed.

Debbie J. Beaulieu, 36, Lewiston, sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Nov. 25, offense committed, fined $75.

Normand M. Bedard, 38, Auburn, possession of marijuana on May 19, dismissed.

Roland Bedard, 23, Lisbon, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief on Feb. 17, found guilty on both charges, fined $150 and $50 restitution on first charge; fined $100 on second charge.

Brandon G. Belanger, 20, Auburn, failure to register a vehicle on April 13 and possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on May 11, found guilty on first charge, fined $75; offense committed on second and third charges, fined $200 on second charge; fined $100 on third charge.

Eric L. Belanger, 27, Lewiston, assault on May 28, found guilty, fined $100.

Norman Belanger, 39, Lewiston, disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana on March 12, first charge dismissed; offense committed on second charge, fined $200.

Sarah J. Belanger, 22, Waterville, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on April 3, found guilty, fined $300.

Anthony J. Belisle, 26, Lewiston, operating under the influence on April 2, found guilty, fined $700, sentenced to 12 days and license suspended 18 months.
