LEWISTON – The Lewiston Senior Citizens will hold a Fun Day, “Remembering the ’50s and ’60s,” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, at American Legion Post 31, Washington Avenue, Auburn.

Cost is $15 a person and it will be open to those age 50 and over. Oldies music will be playing outside all morning and there will be prizes for the best male costume and best female costume.

There will be games from 10 to noon, water balloons and a pick-a-duck contest. Present Company will entertain after lunch.

The buffet will include a hot and cold Italian buffet with whoopie pies and cookies for dessert. There are many special events planned.

Tickets should be purchased by Friday, Aug. 12, so organizers will have a head count. Tickets may be purchased at the Seniors Office, Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St., or call 784-2926, ext. 207. All proceeds will benefit the Lewiston Senior Citizens.
