NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The Predators re-signed forward Steve Sullivan on Tuesday to a four-your contract, and agreed to terms with defenseman Dan Hamhuis on a one-year deal.

The 31-year-old Sullivan had 73 points in 80 games with Nashville and Chicago during 2003-04. The Ontario native has scored more than 20 goals in each of his last six seasons and tied for ninth in the NHL with a career-high 49 assists in the season before the league’s lockout.

Hamhuis spent last season with Milwaukee of the AHL and tied for second among the league’s defensemen with 51 points.

During the 2003-04 season with Nashville, Hamhuis had seven goals and 19 assists.
