SABATTUS – Six high achieving seventh-grade students have been selected to represent the Sabattus Central School at the Junior National Young Leadership Conference this fall in Washington, D.C.

Julia Applebee maintains an honor status, while participating in soccer and softball.

Rebecca Belaire maintains a high honor status and participates in soccer, basketball, softball and tennis.

Cameron Morin maintains a high honor status, while participating in football, basketball and baseball.

Richard Newton maintains a high honor status and participates in football, basketball and baseball.

Michael Rawstron maintains a high honor status, while participating in soccer, basketball, baseball and motocross racing.

Katelynn Wood maintains a high honor status and participates in soccer, field hockey, basketball and softball. Wood has had perfect attendance for the last five years.

The students were nominated by their teacher, Gail Rodrigue-Dubois. They are recognized as outstanding individuals who have achieved academic excellence and possess strong leadership potential.

In November they will join a select group of middle school students from around the United States for the conference.

They will take part in a six-day event that will help shape the future and introduce them to American leadership and history.
