LEWISTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Marie Theresa St. Amand and James Otis Nelson, both of Lewiston.

Miss St. Amand is the daughter of Norman St. Amand of Sabattus and Lorraine Pepin of Lewiston. She is a 1999 graduate of Oak Hill High School and has been employed at Hannaford in Auburn for seven years.

Mr. Nelson is the son of Otis and Lucille Nelson of Auburn. He is a graduate of Lewiston Adult Education and Oxford Hills Technical School. He has been employed at Coca Cola in South Portland for six years.

The wedding will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 27 at the High Street Congregational Church in Auburn.
