LEWISTON – Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care students recently participated in opening ceremonies in the weeklong “Head Start Olympics.” Children took part in exercise and sporting activities, as well as arts and crafts.

The children prepared snacks and learned about cultures and foods of other countries. With their teachers and classroom volunteers, students worked and played to enhance large muscle development, learn about other cultures and have fun.
