WEST PARIS – Ronnie L. Stevens of Main Street in West Paris has been charged with operating under the influence of intoxicants, operating after license suspension, criminal mischief and terrorizing after crashing a pickup into a residence, according to state police Sgt. Donald Shead.

At 4:50 a.m. Aug. 14, Stevens drove off High Street in West Paris and into the side of a garage belonging to Robert and Belinda Lebroke, Shead said. Stevens, 35, struck a snowmobile, fiberglass canoe and a pickup truck, also owned by the Lebrokes, as he crossed their lawn and crashed through the wall of their garage.

Stevens reportedly pounded on the Lebrokes’ door, shouting threats and insults.

Stevens, is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 26. He also has a separate OUI charge pending in Paris, Shead said.
