LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club started its new year with an additional three members.

Linda Paolino, broker-owner of Keller Williams Realty, is a resident of Scarborough and works at the Keller Williams Auburn office. Her sponsor and Rotary mentor is Jan Barrett, immediate past president.

Todd Newcomb, market manager and commercial lender for Maine Bank and Trust in Auburn, is a resident of Auburn. His sponsor is Bud Bower, club secretary-treasurer.

Pamela Lucas, recent recipient of a Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club scholarship, is a full-time student at Central Maine Medical Center School of Nursing and resides in Lewiston. She has become a member as a requirement of her scholarship and was sponsored by Rotarian Gary Kennedy.

All were inducted into the club on July 7 by President-elect Dennis Barriault.

The club is a service group dedicated to raising funds to benefit the community in a variety of ways. Annually the club distributes six $1,000 scholarships to local students pursuing higher education and awards grants in varying amounts to non-profit organizations.

If interested in learning more about Rotary or becoming a member, people can attend the noon meetings on Thursdays at the Ramada Inn.
