The free workshop, “A Workshop on Separation: Lessons I Have Learned – Sowing Seeds of Empathy,” will be facilitated by Koko Preston, MA, of Rockland. Preston teaches positive and preventive parenting education.

The event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at Advocates for Children, located in the B Street Community Center, 57 Birch St., Suite 204.
