SIDNEY – Mary Lou Lowrie of New Gloucester won the Colby College Ski Team Triathlon on Saturday at the Hume Recreation Center. Lowrie, who competes in the 50-and-over class, edged Mandy Ivey of Oxford of the 19-and-under division in the overall competition.

Lowrie’s total swim, bicycle and run time was 1:20.32.4, just nine seconds ahead of Ivey.

On the men’s side, Allan Lobozzo of New Gloucester placed second in the men’s 40-to-49 class, with Jeff Newsom of South Paris the runner-up in 50-and-over.

Kurt Perham of Brunswick (30-to-39) was the men’s overall champion in a time of 1:07.53.7.
