FARMINGTON – June Dragoon of Hillside Art Gallery in West Peru will be Heirlooms of Tomorrow featured artist for October at the Farmington gallery.

Dragoon has studied with a number of well-known artists and works in a variety of mediums. She said she “finds magic in watercolor.” Dragoon has participated in many gallery and sidewalk shows. Her work has been chosen for decorating at several hospitals and educational institutions and is in private collections throughout the world.

Dragoon said she has an adventurous spirit and enjoys mountain climbing, especially Mt. Katahdin and the Knife’s Edge. She is an enthusiastic camper and alpine skier.

An open house will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1. The public is invited and refreshments will be provided.

Heirlooms of Tomorrow is located on Routes 2 and 4 across from Franklin Memorial Hospital.
