• Steven G. Evans, 52, Bethel, obstructing the report of a crime or injury, 6:55 p.m. Sept. 12 on Penobscot Street. He was released on $500 unsecured bail.

Accidents

• Sept. 15, 5:50 p.m. – A 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, driven by Raymond Thomas, 38, of Rumford, failed to stop before leaving Andover Road to enter Route 2 and collided with a 1997 Ford pickup driven by Jerry Clark, 58, of Mexico. There were no injuries.

Thomas was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence, third offense, operating beyond license restrictions, and summoned on a charge of failure to yield the right of way. He failed to post either $800 cash or $70,000 surety bail and was taken to Oxford County Jail.

Estimated damage to the Grand Am was $4,000, to the pickup, $3,500.

The following are to be arraigned on Nov. 8 in 11th District Court in Rumford:

• Dawn Monte, 23, Rumford, operating under the influence, 12:46 a.m. Sept. 14 on River Road (Route 2).

• Richard Haines, 22, Rumford, two Franklin County warrants for failure to appear, 11:45 p.m. Sept. 11 on Roxbury Road (Route 17). He was taken to Oxford County Jail.
